All people with a learning disability, their parents, informal or paid carers and employees of learning disability services, need to have access to accurate information regarding the assorted kinds of support and assistance that is available. Where You Stand offers an extensive (if not comprehensive) guide to many of the options available to individuals with a learning disability or their carers.
This publication covers the counties of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan specifically as well as offering information on national services and bodies. Each county has its own individual way of planning and providing services and we have endeavoured to embrace all such information. These planning systems have been the subject of a great deal of change over recent years and we have attempted to provide information on the current systems that are in place, as well as new systems that are in the process of being introduced.
